Face to face Interviews

Eksen Research conducts face to face interviews with its educated and experienced research staff. The research staff starts working actively in the field, after having general trainings on survey including trainings on quality and code of conduct and trainings relevant to each project. The company conducts all its studies according to the ESOMAR codes.

Interviews via Telephone

Eksen Research has the infrastructure and staff capacity to perform all phoning interviews with its own database or the database supplied by the customer. Through the "Turkey Landline Database" it has, the company is privileged to save time and money in studies like CATI. The interviews can be presented computer-supported if demanded. Staff who conducts the phoning interviews is trained on interviewing in general and on project, code of conduct and technical subjects as well. The best advantage of using this technique is having the opportunity to control concurrently and being quick and economic.

Interviewing in Electronic Form

Electronic interviews ensure quick and regular data through electronic devices such as laptop, palmtop computer. Interviewers, working in these studies have also a technical training beside the usual ones. Interviewing in Electronic Form also includes studies performed via web-pages and/or through e-mails.

In-depth Interviews

Since they all consist of open-ended questions and generally performed in order to prepare a questionnaire, all the in-dept interviews are conducted by the permanent staff working in Istanbul Head Office. The staff working for these studies has also the specific research trainings beside the usual ones.

Focus Group Interviews

Eksen Research conducts Focus Group Interviews by using the database prepared by its own. The interviews are performed at the meeting room in the head office allowing suitable conditions, or in other special places depending on the demands of the customers. The focus group interviews can be followed with the help of room fitted with mirror, isolated from the participants. Sessions are recorded in electronic form and records are served to the customer both in the video and transcribed form.

Mystery Shopping

Mystery shopping is made due to certain scenarios and features of the place gone. Experienced staff is preferred in these studies. By taking into consideration the characteristics of the study, mystery shoppers are trained on role playing on a certain purpose.

Personnel Satisfaction

Personnel satisfaction questionnaires are the questionnaires that are suitable for firms with high numbers of workers. In this method, the staff is trained on how to fill up the questionnaire and no information on the identity of the staff is proclaimed.

• In which level does the personnel espouse their job and the company?

Retail Selling and Address Scanning Studies

These are the studies conducted for determining the retail selling points, address information updating and target product count. The place where the study will be performed is divided into zones, and then different survey takers are sent to each zone for scanning. The points belonging to zones are scanned by the survey takers and checked by supervisors later on.

Data Evaluation

Control

Depending on general features of the study, it is performed by phone controlling, and if needed, supervisors can accompany to the interviewers. When necessary, more than one controlling method can be applied together. Supervisors who are conducting the controls have to be the staff of Eksen Research. To avoid ulterior motives and to determine and interfere in the interviewers' weaknesses, controls are regularly performed without exception.

Logic Control and Coding

Interviews which are technically true and in accordance with the respective rules are applied logic controls. All the interviews are put through eye control in sufficiency and validity. The open-ended questions are coded to be adequate for data entry. The coding list is applied by the expert team after receiving the customer approval.

Data Entering

Data entering is performed by our experienced staff. Results are served in soft or hard copy forms due to the demand of the customer.

Electronic Logical Control

It is the controlling method against the prospective mistakes that can be faced during the application of the questionnaire. With this method, all the errors resulted from the interviewed person or interviewer is eliminated.
